Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Prior to stepping into the industry, I was building my career in the Human Resources scene within the banking sector. But back then on my promotion day in 2016, I had the biggest twist of my life where I received death news of my sister, and everything changed from there.
Fast forward 4 years, I now run an online joss paper store and have a podcast called #TryEverything (find me on Apple Podcast & Spotify!) – where I interview guests who have collected amazing career and business stories, mostly the unheard and unsung heroes that we all secretly need.
Adding financial consulting in my service portfolio in 2020 was just a way to protect the people I get in contact with, and it has so far been very rewarding. It is heartening to see that people are increasingly concerned about their own insurance coverage, for that just-in-case whatever life throws their way and that I in the position of someone who has been through those events can help them plan better.
I mostly spend my free time nannying my late sister’s kids and wondering where my imaginary pug went to.
I joined the life insurance industry with Prudential in early 2020 and am proud to be a top rookie in the first month within the agency.
Why do you invest time to do up insurance portfolio summary for your clients?
Prior to being in the industry, I’ve met and bought from various kinds of financial consultants. There are some who simply don’t bother, some who do it with excel spreadsheets.
